In order to comply with a new Illinois law (HB 1711), all Illinois pet stores can no longer sell puppies, or kittens from high quality, federally licensed puppy, and kitten breeders. Despite the fact that we have spent years visiting and inspecting breeder facilities and developing relationships with breeders who far exceed USDA minimum standards, the State of IL does not believe you should have the right to purchase a puppy in a pet store. Instead, they have mandated you can only travel to another state, use a shelter or rescue, or take your chances with an online seller, with little to no regulations.
Puppies are still available at Petland Batavia, which is a licensed Dog Dealer. With that license, they are unable to carry any other animals, but they can sell puppies. You may call them at 630-761-1047, or visit their website by clicking below to view available puppies.
